It’s easy to think of big gestures, dramatic changes, actions we could take to save the world, but if you’re anything like me they all seem too difficult to achieve, especially when I’m just one person, busy with work, family, life.
But what we lose sight of, is that small things can make a big difference too.
I’m a mum with two beautiful kids, we all love the outdoors, especially the beach. Over the last few years I’ve become aware that it is disturbingly normal for waste to be a common sight, and an unwelcome part of my environment. Last summer at the beach when my youngest was playing in the shallows, I was horrified to see just how much plastic was floating around her. I was overwhelmed, and knew I needed to do more.
I’m a lover of inspired design. Having previously worked in fashion design and the gift industry, I knew that this is where I could create some positive change.

Charlie Eco came from my desire to make it easy for anyone to find eco friendly gifts and everyday essentials all in the one place. We’ve done the hard yards, had the searching conversations and performed the quality checks, so that you can be confident that you are purchasing ethically sourced and environmentally friendly gifts. And do it quickly and easily. Through Charlie Eco I want to show to my children that each one of us does have the power to make a difference one small decision at a time. I’m building a community of those who want to celebrate being a part of the solution, so we’re all making positive changes.
